Renewal costs
ICMS: Global Consistency in Presenting Construction Life Cycle Costs and Carbon Emissions, 3rd edition, November 2021, published by the ICMS (International Cost Management Standard) Coalition, defines renewal costs as: ‘The costs of replacing a Constructed Asset and/or major components once they reach the end of their life, and which the Client decides are to be included in the capital rather than the revenue budget.’
